GEMOC's activities involve four major interlinked programs:

Research
Teaching and Training
Technology Development
Industry Interaction, Technology Transfer and Commercialisation

These programs are of roughly equal importance and are interdependent. For example, the technology development program is driven by research and industry needs and is incorporated in the teaching program.
