Research Project
To study the sustainability of soil resources, the balance between soil production and denudation is to be understood. Estimating soil residence time using uranium series isotopes is a recently developed technique. We apply this technique to bank sediments from the Murrumbidgee river and soil samples from its catchment areas in the highlands of the great dividing range of south-eastern Australia.
