GEMOC participants

 

  • The host institution for GEMOC is the Macquarie University (in the School of Earth Sciences). GEMOC is networked with the Department of Geology at ANU.
  • There is a close collaboration with CSIRO Exploration and Mining (North Ryde) and AGSO.
  • Dr Brian Lees (Department of Geography, ANU), Associate Professor Ian Metcalfe (UNE), Dr Dietmar Muller, Associate Professor David Gust (QUT), Professor Bas Hensen, (UNSW) and Dr W. Collins (University of Newcastle) have collaborative links through program development, project participation or facility sharing. New research links with La Trobe's Fission Track and Volcanology groups extend collaboration and expertise.
  • GEMOC currently includes 10 core academic staff and a large number of research staff (from Macquarie and ANU) and scientists from Government departments.
  • GEMOC has a wide network of international research and teaching development partners (Appendices 1 and 3).
